Mrs Spc and I are thinking about going to Puerto Vallarta for two weeks this September. I will do some diving and we will do some site seeing. We know it is the rainy season but will it be too wet and humid to enjoy our vacation?

My wife and I are also thinking of going to PVR the first week in September. We will be staying at Iberostar Playa Mita (on site dive op). Playa Mita is 25 miles west of PVR airport and does not get as humid as Puerto Vallarta. My limited research indicates wet weather happens late afternoon/early evening. However..... this is prime tropical storm season.

Thanks for the info.
Late afternoon /evening would be okay. I am not sure which direction is west of PV. I thought PV was on the west coast?
What is the name of the on site dive op?
