Puck Pro Versions?

I recently bought two Puck Pro computers to replace my wife and my old subgear XP10s, which we will use as backups. They seem pretty simple, but I noticed that some of the settings in the manual don't seem to match what is displayed on the Puck Pro and I wonder if there are two versions of the Puck Pro? For example, on the "info" display the manual says "This submenu provides information about the hardware and software of your Puck Pro and about the status of the battery with a number from 1 to 3, 3 being the highest". I replaced the battery (it arrived with an almost dead battery) and the "info" display now has a "4" displaying at the top. Also in the manual I notice there is a picture of a tiny battery showing and a numeral "5" next to it in the middle row on the right. This does not exist on my Pro. Any ideas anyone?

Mares makes 3 computers under the Puck Name.

Puck Pro Plus

Pro and Plus look an awful lot alike, only noticeable difference I could see in the 5 minutes I got to compare the 2 were the colored bar graph around the face of the Plus vs. the black bars on the Pro.

Maybe you ended up with 1 of each?

Be sure they are both running the latest firmware which can be downloaded from the Mares website.

Both computers are identical. Both behave the same...maybe I wasn't clear.

They are both running the latest 4.0 firmware.

Just checked my manual and it indeed says 1-3 with 3 being the highest. I don't have my computer with em but will check it when I get home to see if I see the same anomaly.

Here's a stupid question: The manual says place the computer in "predive" mode before diving if you want it to start displaying immediately. Nowhere can I find a "predive" mode. I assume they mean just turn it on or if it is displaying interval time between dives just click the button once to go into what they call "predive" mode. I know this all sounds like I am being picky, but I have to show my wife how to use this new computer and I know she will ask lots of questions. While I sometimes tend to wing it, she is quite thorough...a good trait to have.

Pre-Dive mode is simply turning it on. The main screen is the pre-dive screen.
