on the plus side, lots of sea nettles and a couple big sea bass! and superb navigation, buddy... ended up back at the boat ramp in poor viz. :-D

I wouldn't call sea nettles a plus....
I didn't see any nettles at Lobos today. But did see some beautiful egg yoke jellies!

We were off Big Sur today on the Silver Prince and viz wasn't that much better -- ~20 feet at best. And, of course, locks of sea nettles!

The North Coast was worse.
Bare 2-3' at the good parts. Substantially less in the bad parts.
