Hey Dan had the exact same weight bag as mine and I saw his in the back of his truck and forgot mine, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I got a tub for my gear now, and spring straps for my fins...just like you Drew

I'd be up for 10/1. I always find down south if more mellow/fun then braving the breakwater/metridium on a weekend. Monastery or Butterfly House can often be awesome dives.
EDIT: but i'd be up for consensus view of course

Well, it's looking like I'm not going to be able to make it down there at all this weekend BUT the good news is that the nice folks at Pt. Lobos have agreed to let me assign my (pre-paid) reservations for Sunday 10/2 to my "dive buddy".
If you want them, let me know and PM your full name and contact phone number. I'll let the Lobos rangers know it's you that's coming. First come, first served, in the event this turns out to be a popular offer.
Oh, and whoever takes it owes me a beer for being your reservation agent.
