Dude, that sounds awesome ... oh, wait, it was ;)

I'm sort of amazed that I missed middle reef for so long. It wasn't until a month or so ago that I dived it with jchaplain from Boston. It was another of those "should we dive" days and turned out to be 70' vis like Saturday. Jared and I could see the bottom after our ascent from 50'. Wow!

I was pretty cold on Sat too. If it goes hand in hand with those conditions who cares :D.

I was a bit surprised at the amount of no shows. I'd say the lot was half full (half empty? - whatever :05: ).

Drewpy:
Point Lobos was absolutely stellar on Saturday!
An incredible day of great vis and tons of life!
Lings,cabs and rockfish oh my!!!

Water was nice and blue with vis easily over 50ft out past the mouth of whalers!
Water temp was right about 50 degrees at 80ft of depth-not much warmer in the cove!
Gotta bust out on a drysuit! BRRR!

Thanks to Mark W. for a great Tour of the middle reef. I know have 20 watt HID envy!
Why do those things cost so much!!!!I know,I know there worth it!

One of those days we live for!!!:D

Im with you! Ill freeze my *** off for conditions like that!
