PT-26 slave strobe suggestions?

Hello - Just bot a PT-26 for my Stylus 500 and burned up half a gig in Roatan. Would like to buy a slave strobe designed for the dumb UW photographer. Oh yes, does a flash dif. make much difference? Does a red filter make much difference in my shots in the 15'-100' range?

I have the same setup and added a Sea-Life digital strobe. It fires with a fiber-optic cable which is included. I have used it on a few local dives and it has worked well.
