The E7-80 is a HP tank rated at 3442psi not 2640psi....
its also smaller then an LP 80 by about 4"

HUH?

I am not sure why you quoted my post and then corrected me stating the tank was 3442 not 2640. You must have my post mixed up with another.

Wasn't correcting you, but pointing out the size and pressure difference btw your tank and the one that started this thread. 3442psi vs 2400psi and 24" tall vs 20" tall.

The tank that started this thread is a low pressure 2400psi with a + sign boosting allowable fill pressure to 2640 psi (80 cf). It has a yoke valve and the pst sticker on it states E series 80

The sticker is wrong. The tank is an LP 80, not an E series 80. E series tanks are rated to 3442 psi.

If it is 24" tall, it is PST LP-80, the only LP model that PST continued to make along with new E-Series.
E7-80 is only 20" tall.
