They that go down to the sea in ships,
that do business in great waters;
The see the works of the Lord,
and his wonders in the deep. Amen

go to psalm 104:25---

Yonder sea, great and wide, therein are creeping things innumerable, living creatures both small and great.
(one of my personal favs)

My wife is a very good cross-stitcher, and she included this verse in a sampler for her father, who is also my dive buddy/ instructor / mentor.

Good stuff.

THE DIVERS PRAYER

Almighty God,
Our Heavenly Father,
we, who descend into the depths of the seas,
beseech Thee to protect and guide us inYour Aquatic Kingdom.
We pray that Thee can find a worth in those who search the waters of the Seven Seas to increase the knowledge of man,
to seek and understand the vast mysteries of our past as well as that abundant world which lives below the surface of the water, and to enjoy this new found world and all it has to offer.
As we small people work below ,
Dear God, watch over us and help us to return safely to our earth-world.
But, Heavenly Father, should we perish in this watery-world,
we beg that Thee will forgive our earthly sins,
cleanse our hearts and souls, and lead us to Thy Celestial Kingdom to serve Thee forever and ever.
Amen

HOW YA LIKE THAT ????

ssdiver2003 once bubbled...
But, Heavenly Father, should we perish in this watery-world,
we beg that Thee will forgive our earthly sins,
cleanse our hearts and souls, and lead us to Thy Celestial Kingdom to serve Thee forever and ever.
Amen

HOW YA LIKE THAT ????
....but its always best to have your sins forgiven and your heart and soul cleansed before you perish.
