White Sharks - Philadelphia Explorers Meeting
Dean Fessler, Education Director for the Shark Institute will present " Demystifying the Man Eater" , a South African White Shark Presentation on Thursday, January 15th at The Explorers Club Philadelphia Chapter Meeting. Slides, photographs, and videotape encounters with the white sharks off of Dyer Island, South Africa document previously unimagined white shark behavior featuring hands on interactions which not only leave humans and sharks intact, but eager to make contact again!

Plus, learn about shark feeding preferences which may suggest conditioning, cooperative hunting, or even play!

Dean will offer testament against the fear and prejudice associated with the "great" white shark and replace it with one of respect and wonder for the white shark which is truly great! Q&A session at the conclusion of presentation.
