Goddard, I can agree on the tipping I thought it was a little much. But we had a great room and the food was very good. At lunch I never did see a buffet. In the morning they would ask you if you would like their lunch special, if yes they would have it prepared right before your boat came in. If you wanted something off the menu their was no extra charge.

Thank You Everyone for the Pro's and Con's!
If hard beds and slow boats is the worst thing about it I can handle that. I found it interesting that they dont take Credit Cards for booking the room. I'll be there sept 28th thru Oct 5th if anyone is going at that time PM me.

Take lots of small bills. If you use a cc there is a 10% (?)surcharge. As state by Christi in another thread the people there have to wait several weeks to get their money from the cc company.

Hello

Yes it was 2.25 per day or what we paid was 11.25 usd for 5 days of diving. I had paid for an extra day of diving down to Punta sur and they charged us each 2.25 usd for the extra day of diving. In trips past it has been 2.00 usd per day at other resorts. Jlyle, you were the last one to post to my trip report.

When we were there in May we did not pay fee separately. Guess it was included in package. Did not get a wristband first day. Dive boat got hassled by park police during surface interval. Next day and thereafter we all had to wear wristbands
