Hello all,
I am working on a project which will allow divers to calculate thier dive categories and decompression stops using Buhlmann and PADI dive tables on a Palm OS.
Can anyone help me out with working out the algorithms needed for programming these tables (using C++)??
A bit of a long **** maybe!!
but Id appreciate any advice you have!!

Hi,
There are currently 2 versions of palm software out there that I know of. One can be found at www.gue.com it's called Dplan. Todd Leonard (sp)did the palm version of the popluar decoplan from GUE. You might try contacting them. The other version is a free download I believe. It was done by Phi Le. It is called Decoweenie. www.cisatlantic.com/trimix/trimix.html you can find it under tools.there is also a yahoo group you may want to get in touch with that discusses the Decoweenie plan. You can download the program and then join the group. As far as the algorithims, not knowing your background I will say I would use the DPlan before I attempted to make my own....Safe Bubbling
