Hello all, just wanted to relay some problems I've been having with my Falcon. I purchased it new about 3 months ago. I have about 10 dives on it and have noticed some problems. Initially, I observed some unraveling of the sewing near the pocket on the right side. I returned it to my LDS and they had it re-sewn locally and it held. I just finished a cruise to Costa Maya and Cozumel, and while cleaning my BC, I noticed another problem. The pocket that contains the air bladder is sewn in the middle around the bladder. On the bottom left and right sides, this stitching is coming undone exposing the air bladder through the nylon. Has anybody had this problem with their falcon??

I purchesed a falcon the 1st week of april 2005, (I had 11 dives in it) the seams on both side came apart, a freind has had one for over 12 months (32 dives) with no problems, we both like the falcon but are a little nervis that maybe that the reson its discontinued???????

I've had mine on 6 dives and just checked it after reading this post. Its still like new, and doesnt look like its going to start ripping any time soon.

That is good to hear, given that you are selling it in the classified section.

This thread is no doubt badly timed for you, but it does beg the question - Why are you are selling yours?

I've had one for nearly 2 years, with 40 dives. I have had no issues with the stitching.

My issue is with draining water. Even removing the dump valves does not let all of the water drain easily. To drain it requires a lot of shaking and a lot of waiting. I suspect the matter has to do with the construction of the bladder. Does anyone have any thoughts?
