I can connect everything to my 1st stage but the inflation hose for my but, my Mares Dragon bcd inflator hose is to small. I have two LP and 2 HP. One LP goes to my primary reg, 1 HP goes to my guage, and one LP goes to my Octopus. (but not on the same side as my primary, and I think that is weird) The MK11 has a HP and LP on one side and the same on the other. Am I supposed to purchase a new hose for my inflator or do i need to return my 1st stage?

Yeah I am taking it in tomorrow. I just want to learn for future problems and may be be able to help my friends as the buy their gear. The dive shop guy acted like he didn't want to talk or even help me so I was like I will do it myself.

Seems Scuba Pro likes to make the sizes they use different than most others, at least reg. to BCD. Gives you the impression they only want you to buy Scuba Pro.

The MK11 has 4 standard sized low pressure ports and 2 high pressure ports. As it has already been said, please take it to someone that knows what to do.

As SeaCobra mentioned, ports on a SP Mk 11 are standard size, two LP and one HP on each side. Good advice on letting a technician assemble it. Also a good idea to understand how everything is put together. That way you have the knowledge to know if something is not right before a dive. You might not have the experience a good tech has, but at least you will know enough to not dive a piece of gear if it is not set up right or acting correctly.

Sounds like your primary and secondary were set on oppisite sides. Some prefer it that way and others prefer both on the same side. The shop you purchased it from should be happy to assemble it and answer any questions. If not, find a different shop.

Scubapro ports are all standard, some Aqualung/Seaquest/Apeks have 3/8 ports for the primary and 1/4 ports for the other low pressure ports. Sounds as if Antagonist was trying to put a low pressure hose into a HP port. The markings on the MK11 can be confusing at times.
