I bought a BCD Mares origin sport last year in Egypt, in July. After less than 6 month working, it started to leak from the nek :ermm:. I went back in Egypt this summer, and as it was still on warranty, I asked for a replacement, and it was done after a week of talking...:(
Happy Jude with her new BCD! let's go to work again. 6 weeks later, it starts to leak again, exactly from the same place, and even more than the other. Basically, I can not stay more than 5 min at the surface without inflating again.
Is there any problem with that model? any recalls or stuf like that I should know? or I'm just really unlucky?:depressed::mad:
Thanks for the answers...

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your issues. This is not common, there are no recalls, and I am completely unaware of any major problems with this bcd. Again we have a worldwide warranty policy, so you do not have to take it back to your point of purchase. With a valid receipt of purchase from an authorized Mares dealer, any warranty issues can be handled locally.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for answering that fast!
I know I can go to any Mares shop with my warranty, but I'm now in the Maldives, and the next shop is on another island. It's not that easy to go, so I will have to wait a little bit. I also hope the next one will be good, I heard that model is strong, and it's why I bought it.
Is there anything I should know about the maintenance? I use mine 2-3 times a day, I rince it at least once a day, and I never let it dry until it's not rinced and inflated. I properly rince inside once a week...
Thanks
