Hello together,
I have an issue with my dive computer and I didn’t find any help so far. I changed from cobalt 1 to cobalt 2 device years ago due to multiple problems with the compass. In general the new device “cobalt 2” is perfect and the navigation itself w/o any concern. The problem started days ago when I switched from diving display to navigation display and didn’t see the compass anymore. After diving I tried to reset the computer ( pushing left and right buttons for 11s) and I tried to calibrate the compass several times. After successful calibration the compass still was missing ( in calibration mode as well as in diving mode). The firmware version 2.500/4 was okay for several dives before and I didn’t find 2.6 yet. I checked compass diagnostic with all “active” measurement values (coordinates…): one of the values called “AZ” does not change while moving the device in different alignment angle… > see attached pictures. SW or HW issue? Do you have any advice how to proceed to restore the compass to be displayed again?
