"Brought us in" refers to ground actually taking control for the landing. It happens...

yea...that's what I think happened.

well..there you have it, that's why I was walking around. :D

Wow.

I have to say that one of the rules I live by is that if the pilot is pale when he answers the question, then I don't ask any further! Actually, I just came up with that, but I'm sure I will apply it if the time ever comes.

The hijack is my fault, since I asked.:( Back to the originally scheduled thread....

Yeah, when the pilot is pale, don't noticed. You didn't see it, you were never in any danger.:11:

When the plane bounces on landing and you see the pilots standing at the cabin door upon disembarking, ask them if they're going to log it as one landing or two. They ususally get a chuckle out of it, knowing that they came in a little hot and hoping no one noticed.

shortly after take-off, while the plane was still ascending, the aircraft hit an air pocket and dropped its altitude (I'm not sure by how much). I remember feeling a physical force that traveled from my feet and up my body, (as if the force was pinning me to the floor).

Just a point here... if you suddenly and rapidly descended you would have felt that feeling from when you were a kid and were ont he swing going really high where your heart jumps into your throat and your stomach feels like you are weightless. You would have felt like you were floating otu of your seat or were light. If you were pinned down by the forces, then you were rapidly ascending, not dropping altitude.

Sometime beams from UFO's exert a pulling force on the plane. It is possible that the aliens were trying to extract you from the plane, but were unsuccessful from the attempt. Or it is possible that they did remove you from the plane, but found you are an unsuitable specimen for their zoological park, and returned you to your seat.

I had it happened to me, several times, on trans atlantic flights. It never occurred over the pacific, and I am not sure why.

You weren't sitting next to a guy named Max Fenig, were you? He's a bit of a lightning rod for these things, I hear.:D
