I was having a few issues a while back and have just developed a habit of going to the search or recent post page and opening anything I want to look at in a new tab. When I close them I still have the original page opened up. Not a fix, but a work around.

Without any further information, I'm going to mark this case as closed.

Too soon, Howard. I'm having trouble going back from this page apparently due to pointroll.com again

Dr. Bill. You should run a malware scan on your computer. There is nothing from ScubaBoard related to pointroll.com.

While I can offer you advice on this situation, it's not something that I can fix on the ScubaBoard end of things to make your browser work properly.

I can suggest a search on google to find many results on this topic: https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en&tab=ww#hl=en&q=firefox+back+button+won't+work

Quite frankly... If the problem exists only with firefox, then you have an issue with firefox, and I'd just try using Chrome.

Pointroll.com is an ad serving platform that we do not use here on SB. You probably had the tracking cookies placed by another site. Pointroll ads can extend beyond the frame of the ad, which quite frankly is very annoying, and I wouldn't subject our users to things like that, or sound in the ads, etc.

I'm sorry that I can't do more.
