hey guys,

I looking to go pro this year with my diving and im on the look out for my first equipment set to do it with.

Anyone know of a good starter set? not too sure what im looking for either!!!

I don't think there's any specific set of equipment that's designed to 'go pro'. as you put it.

There's certainly no top-to-toe universal set of gear from one manufacturer. You need to decide on so many different things, from regulators to gloves that I doubt you'll get consensus on any single item.

The only thing that can be said with absolute certainty is that if you intend being a professional instructor in the UK you will need an HSE recognised instructor qualification, an HSE medical and either a twin set with independent regulators or a single with a pony. One regulator with an octopus does not meet the ACOPS.
