Anyone go through the courses at Pro Dive? Opinions on them? Worth getting certified through them and job placement?

If you're asking about ProDive in Ft Lauderdale, then yes they are worth it. I went there, and found them to be very tough (in a good way.) They train you well past the PADI standards, and have some excellent instructors. They have a very high pass rate for the I.E.

That being said, their ROS program is not really worth it. Too many BS certifcations, and not enough diving.

if you are prone to seasickness, you will not like their boat, the ProDiver II. I do not get seasick, but I observed the DM's hosing puke off the deck every day.

Ditto what Tienuts said.

Due to the fact that more than one in any class shows up with the hammock and margaritta attitude, they get a little more preachy and "Paper-Chase"-esque, but if you can get by that, you will get a great start on a professional path.
