I maybe a bity thick, but for some reason I can't print the dive profiles from Sunnto's Dive Manager software on to A5 paper it keeps printing to A4. Is this a problem with the software or the printer???

Any ideas would be very much appreciated

whats the imperial equivalent to A4 and A5?

My calculator translates it as follows:

148mmx210mm = 5 53/64" x 8 17/64"

That essential rounds off to 5 3/4" x 8 1/4" for A4
If A4 is half of A5, then A5 would be 11 1/2" x 16 1/2" (11x17)

Im guessing that in reality A4 is probably 8 1/2" x 11"

A4 is a metric-measured paper size -

210mm x 297mm, equivalent to 8.27" x 11.69"

A5 is half the size of A4 -

210mm x 148mm, equivalent to 8.27" x 5.83" (usually stated as 148mm x 210mm)

Letter is the aproximate US equivalent to A4 -

215.9mm x 279.4mm, equivalent to 8.5" x 11"

A4 is narrower and taller than Letter, and is widely used outside of the United States. I'm not sure if there is a US equivalent to A5.

Microsoft Word is great for checking paper sizes through the File | Page Setup | Paper Size tab, and you can toggle mm versus inches through the Tools | Options | General tab.
