This is an interesting enough question that it brings me out of the woodworks.

I like my job most of the time and even get invigorated on those occasions that my group generates good scientific results. With that said, when I get home and my wife and kids ask me how my day went my typical response is the obligatory fine. Now if they asked me what IÃÎ doing with the drysuit glove in my hand they better be willing to give up a couple hours of their life.

Cheers

I reserve pride for things I feel are harder to accomplish. My job is my just a job. Diving is what I would call a lifstyle for me. I strive for excellence in both, just my nature.

I am proud to participate in various charity events like the MS 150 and American Cancer Society bike a thons.
I am proud to have served my country

I am proud to have lost in excess of 100 pounds with diet and exercise alone.
I am proud to have quit smoking cold turkey.
I am not proud to have been in position to do either of the above.
