Press Release: Oasis Divers has expanded into Tempe

Oasis Divers, of Phoenix Arizona, has expanded into Tempe. On December 28, 2007, Oasis Divers entered into a lease at the facility once known as Ocean Planet Scuba in Tempe Arizona. Additionally, Oasis Divers has purchased certain assets from Ocean Planet Scuba.

Oasis Divers is a leading dive business in Arizona with a full service facility on Bell Road in Phoenix and a full service dive shop and boat charter in San Carlos Mexico (400 miles south of Phoenix on the Sea of Cortez)

With its expansion into East Valley, Oasis Divers now has the opportunity to service its growing customer base in a more geographically dispersed area. Both the Phoenix and Tempe facilities offer customers full training options from Recreational to Technical and Beginner to Professional levels. Both facilities also have on-site heated pools, equipment sales, service, rental, air fills, and travel to exotic and nearby destinations. Most importantly, divers around town will have more opportunities to dive and meet other divers.

Amy Lignoski, president of Oasis Divers commented, We're really excited to have the opportunity to extend our scuba, snorkeling and swim programs to the folks in Tempe. We love to see kids from 5 years old to 90 years old enjoy the lifetime of adventure Oasis Divers can deliver! Lignoski further added, We've built something special at our Phoenix location and can't wait to see the loyal divers in the East Valley experience that in our new Tempe location. We're proud of all three of our shops in Phoenix Metro area and San Carlos. While we are growing, you are still able to get that small dive shop, family friendly feeling when you enter one of our locations.

Oasis Divers Tempe will be closed through January 6, 2008 and will reopen on January 7, 2008. Oasis Divers Tempe will be open 7 Days a week from 10 to 7 on the weekdays and 10 to 5 on the weekends.

Oasis Divers Tempe will be hosting an open house reception for all to enjoy on Friday night January 11, 2008 starting at 6PM.

A new training, travel and events schedule will be posted at its new Web site at Oasis Divers - Phoenix AZ Scuba Shop: Swim Lessons before January 7th.

Nope, Phoenix is my home base, not that I won't be in Tempe & San Carlos on occasion.

Hey Everyone,

We have a social scheduled for Friday night (11JAN08) down at Oasis Tempe. I hope we will see you there. If you can't make it to the East Valley, our Phoenix social will continue to be the last Friday of each month. However, we are no longer doing it at Jillians. It has moved to Cubs Park (which is located in the same parking lot as Oasis Phoenix on Bell Road).

Thanks for all the kind words in regards to our expansion into the EV.
