Hi -
Does anyone know where (or if) you can get masks with a + prescription? I have seen them available for a range of - prescriptions but that's all. I have trouble reading small stuff U/W - like my camera monitor - and a dive watch. I can read my gauges and computer OK - but they are bigger. I have longer vision resulting from getting older - on land I have multiple focus glasses (the lower section is for reading).

The folks at www.prescriptiondivemasks.com say they can fit any prescription into any mask. I was very pleased with the work they did on one one mask I had.
Thank you Drew! They look just the job  - and they ship internationally (I live in Japan). I'll get in touch with them.

I have Seac Sub X-One goggles. They come with + reading lens, like a bi-focal (yes, I have the age thing too  ). Mine are +150 and work great as long as I get the goggle adjusted right and keep the water out.

Got the goggles at my LDS.

I had prescription bi-focal lenses put into my Mares X-Vision. I can now easily read pressure bars and numbers. Most important I can see my onboard monitor on the video housing much better. I did it through a local dive shop. took about a 2 weeks, and cost about $180.00 Stick-on lenses are really not "your" prescription; they only magnify.

Thankyou all for the input!
I am also a bit wary of the 'stick-on' type lenses - what happens with a flooded mask for instance - or rinsing the mask after dives? I would be a bit worried that I'd lose the lenses!
I've tried to contact prescriptiondivemasks.com but no luck so far - their mail server won't accept an e-mail from me - seems to think it's spam!! I'll have to phone them next week. I'm going into Fukuoka today to check out LDS' here - we'll see.

You have several options -- as mentioned, prescriptiondivemasks.com will fit
any prescription. SeaVision will also custom grind lenses for any prescription,
and I dive their color-correcting masks for day use regularly. As an aside, my
prescription is fairly weak, so I am fortunate to be able to use the Tusa lenses
(-1.5) in my Liberator+ as well (I use that for night & low light diving)

I have a perscription mask (seen in my profile pic) that I have been diving with for years. Even tho my perscription has changed in my glasses slightly over the years, I have not needed to change the mask. Wish I could help you out with who ground the lenses, but I faintly recall that it was a company in Texas and cost about $100-10 years ago.
Good luck with your new mask, I love mine.
