I be at home in Arlington, MA the night before and drive in to Rye in the morning. Or else I'd join you!

Rye is right by Hampton Beach and there are tons of places to stay around there. There are also alot of good places to eat nearby, will you be alone? I wouldn't walk the back strip too much alone as a woman, but then again you aren't underage so most of the guys won't be interested
Just a joke for the locals. If you are staying alone perhaps My girlfriend and i can swing by and we can go to dinner. Aimee Mann is playing at the casino ballroom the night before, I have no idea who she is but if you happen to be a fan it is a great place to see a show very small and personal.

I live only 20 minutes from Hampton Beach, so if you want to get together let me know. I don't know the area that well though.
I think it would be fun to have some sort of NELD gathering around this even though.
If some people are starting to gather in the area though, anyone interested in an afternoon dive the day before?

An early afternoon dive and dinner sounds great! I'll look into who Aimee Mann is, sounds familiar but I love live music anyway. What casino?
I'll p.m. you guys with my cell phone number so we can hook up. Don't have accommodations yet, will probably book that soon as I suspect Aug. to be high season.

How are the water temps shaping up out on Cape Ann? I don't anticipate the temps to get to where I would even consider diving wet until June.

If you ever saw Magnolia - she did the soundtrack. Singer/songwriter, not quite rock, not quite folk. Kinda slow-paced, very melodical. Sometimes a little moody. Pretty good stuff. If you like the sound of Jewel, you might like her. Except Mann is not quite as Lilith Fair as Jewel is.

Aimee Mann sang for 'Til Tuesday (Voices Carry, Coming Up Close) in the 80s and early 90s. She is solo now. Very nice voice. If you have the I Am Sam soundtrack, she sings Two Of Us with Michael Penn.
I haven't done my open water dives yet, but how is the diving up there? I'm headed up to Winnipesaukee in June or July, I could always drive up to the Hampton area at other times. Just not that weekend -- first born is due right around that time.
