Folks,
Last Saturday saw an underwater cleanup, downtown in the Bay, of large proportions! 90 of you fellow scuba divers gathered and either dove one of eight spots along the embarcadero or supported those same divers in some manner. This was a big bit of volunteerism and I want to extend my sincere thanks to every one of those dynamic people. Not only that, but I want to thank the Port of San Diego, Harbor Police, our corporate event sponsor The Control Group, Ocean Enterprises, and every one of our regular Sponsors.
A lot of fun items were recovered (mountain bike, stereo, artillery shell, can of Spam, sleeping bag, lobster traps, microwave oven, I-Phone, etc), but the "most unique/cool find" was a box of .44 magnum hollow-point bullets! Way to go, Jen Burton!

We put up a Great White Shark trip for next October (2016)... and it sold out in less than 24 hours. We put up a November Coronados boat trip... and it sold out in less than 12 hours. Write in and tell us what trips YOU want to see and we'll do our best to get them going!

SAFETY NOTE: Lost Buddy Procedures: You look around for no more than a minute, then make a safe ascent to the surface. If both of you agree to this method before you go in the water you'll never be separated by more than three or four minutes. Easy! Just a leetle bit of talking with each other before the dive can prevent a world of heartache afterward.
