I was at PK a few weeks ago A Scuba Point. Visibility was pretty poor (a few murky feet) but there was a TON of fish swimming around......if you are still on the bottom they pretty much swarmed me.....and I wasn' t even feeding them.
As far as 'crabs' go......I couldn't believe how many crabs I saw......they're small, with bodies the size of 'nickels' but they're everywhere on the bottom, hiding under/between every rock on the bottom.
The key to seeing them is to lie on the bottom, be still, and just watch a few square feet of the bottom......movement scares them, so if you're swimming around you'll never see them....be still....watch, and wait a couple of minutes.....and they'll appear all over the place......they love hiding under the edges of all the small rocks.....and when they're building/maintaining their nests by shoveling the sand away from under the edge of rocks.....that's when you'll see them.
