Possible idea for a future Swamper Gathering

I got this in an e-mail today. How would you guys feel about going to this en masse?


FRISCO, TX (Friday, February 22, 2008) – Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are back in town for one remarkable performance at Pizza Hut Park on Saturday, April 26. The Year Of Still Here tour promises to offer the festive sights and sounds that fans can only experience at a Jimmy Buffett concert.



On April 28, 2007, a crowd of 26,883 fans enjoyed the first Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reeder Band performance at Pizza Hut Park. The concert crowd that evening was the third largest in the park’s three-year history.



FC Dallas Season Ticket holders will have a chance to order tickets to the April 26 concert during a special pre-sale on Wednesday, February 27 at 10 a.m. Please contact the FCD front office for more information (888.FCD.GOAL).



Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Monday, March 3 at 10 a.m. and can only be purchased through Ticketmaster outlets, Tickets for Concerts, Sports, Arts, Theater, Family, Events, more. Official Ticketmaster site, or charge by phone at 972-647-5700 or 214-373-8000. Tickets are not available through the Pizza Hut Park box office.



The gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Please check Pizza Hut Park > Home for more information regarding parking costs, hours, and tailgating policies for this event.

OMG...I would love to go but how in the world can you snag any tickets...I haven't attended one of his concerts in years because it is too hard to get tickets...

It says they will be available through Ticketmaster outlets March 3 (if you have access to a Ticketmaster outlet or Ticketmaster.com). If not, we could try to work something out.

Where is Frisco? Could we dive Saturday and do the concert in this part of the state?

Frisco is north of Dallas. Diving at Clear Springs that day and then getting over to the concert might be a little tricky. I work at Pizza Hut Park, and the parking lots will fill up pretty quickly, so it might be a better idea to get there as early as possible and tailgate (Parrotheads do that a lot).

oh well we all gotta be something......and I am

my dear DH reminded me yesterday ......that is the weekend that our motorcycle club goes on it's annual 4 day srping ride ....this year to Cloudcroft NM. I thought it was gonna be in March soooo I am out for this year durn it .....unless I can get out of going on the ride
