I had a great morning of diving in Orange Beach. I went out with Down Under and found the crew and boat to be fantatstic. I went to the shop the day before and got some nitrox fills. The guys were nice and spent a lot of time explaining exactly where the best shore diving was. They went out of their way to make sure I knew where to part and dive. So I had a good feeling before I got on the boat. The boat is a nice 46' boat with lots of room. There were about 10 divers which is usually more than I like but there was plenty of room and I met some cool ppl.
The vis was 80' on top and about 40' when we got to the wrecks. The first dive was a 100' and the second was 85' and both were covered in fish. There was a 200lb goliath grouper hanging on one of the wrecks, I did not get to see it but heard him drumming at me from inside the stern. I was surprised to see so many lion fish! I was coming out of the wreck and put my hand 1" from one and didnt even know it until I looked down.
All in all it was a great day. I like this operation and I plan on using them for the Oriskany.
These are bad pics bc they are stills from a go pro. but you get the point
