posing issues

Earlier this evening I posted a political article in what I assumed to be an "anything goes section" but it seems not and the article has been moved to the pub. I have tried to join the pub but it wont let me saying insufficient credits or something. Apologies for posting this in the wrong place but can someone explain what I have done wrong and should I be able to access the pub somehow. My post could be regarded as political but I would not have thought it was defamatory of offensive in any way

You did nothing wrong. Your post was definitely pub bound from the start. That’s where we put off topic posts that are likely to get heated and off the rails.
