A couple of us are headed down to Portage Quarry this Saturday.

I'm hoping it's early enough in the season that we'll actually be able to see all the stuff on the bottom usually obscured by silt. I've caught the quarry conditions like this a few times and was amazed at all that was down there that typically isn't visible.

I'd like to meet behind the office and park by the fence as it's an easy walk in entry.

Details on the quarry are at: www.portagequarry.com

So who's up for joining in on the fun and diving?
Paula

I would love to but i'm driving down to columbus this weekend to visit my sister.
(plus it only going to be 45 out <brrr>)
Saturdays I usually spend with my dad but in the future anytime you want to hit it please let me know as I usually have saturday mornings free and I can run over to dads later in the afternoon.
Sometimes my wife works Sundays so that might be a good day also.
Haven't been diving since certification and have lots of gear to justify to wife so...

Take care,

Tom

Looks like it's going to be a little cooler this weekend than last.

I'd like to come up but have to run the climbing tower this weekend for the scouts (over 700 registered so far) looks like I'll be busy.

Yeah. I by no means consider myself a WWW but I'm having second thoughts given the weather forecast. Diving in snow and cold doesn't seem very appealing after the wonderful weather we had for the Meet & Greet.

I'm stayin' home because it's too cold for me.

Well on the good side it may be warmer IN the water than out.

Guess I haven't watched the weather that closely. I can't believe the forecast is calling for flurries. Guess there's always the following weekend @ whitestar unless things change...

Last I saw it was calling for over an inch of snow, tents look nice w/ snow on them.

Too bad I don't have my pics w/ me.

tents look nice with snow on them only when I'm standing in my warm kitchen looking out while drinking a cup of hot coffee... :crafty:
