According to Hugyfot lens chart, Nikon 105mm AF-S lens require a 90mm flat port + en 20mm extension ring. However I already own the flat port and a 45mm extension ring.
So I wonder if it will give any unforseen problems if the port is 25mm longer than neccesary?

Vignetting in the corners and edges will be your major issue. "Nose-up" positive buoyancy caused by the additional air space in the port will also be readily apparent. 105mm Macro lens is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and get your port dialed in. Your images will thank you.

I checked with hugyfot directly. it's no problem at all
