Thousands of Atlantic Sea Hares washing up on shore...at House of Refuge
i bailed on a planned dive today due to being exhausted from work, then decided to go for stroll on the beach to find these little guys everywhere. The ones in the water were swimming but washing up on the beach.

i went shore diving this weekend and saw no sea hares at all in LBTS...odd how they just washed up in that area only...any more info out there?

tons of them all over. and several different kinds. here is a shot of some diving on the Halsey wreck this weekend. Mostly Spanish Dancers and a couple of Spotted Hares.
Up in Vero we have thousands of Ragged Seahares

Who did you use for the Halsey dive? Treasure Coast Charters out of Ft. Pierce?

This is on my to-dive list.

Stuart Scuba will run periodic trips to the Halsey. Some other cool sites will be on the list as well. also check out Vero Beach Scuba Club on Facebook or at Vero Beach Scuba Club - Home
