I have a ranger BC, has anyone used a 40cf pont and sling it on the side? I am just curious if the d-ring and fit works correctly.

IIRC from when I had my Ranger that the lower D-ring is more to the front of the hip than the side. As such, the cylinder might not tuck quite straight back but stick off to the side a bit. Otherwise the spacing should be fine.
