Do you have some sort of creative writing, poetry, song, or other art that you'd like to share with ScubaBoard? Here's one to start off:

Where Is It That I Belong?

At times I find little comfort or pleasure from the
surface world in which I roam.
Yet I have found a place that gives me peace.
It's in the mighty ocean deep.

The stress that consumes me day and night
seems to fade as I take ocean flight.
The scary thought of my next breath
becomes obsolete when I sink in depth.

As I descend to the ocean floor
I feel a peace as I begin to soar.
Around the wreck or coral reef
I start to feel my life's complete.

And when I rise to surface waves
upon the sun then I do gaze.
I appreciate both worlds at last
I belong in both and no longer ask.

Sorry 'bout The Rain

I walked along a lonely street
Rushed
In mind
Dedicated to my commitments

And the world seemed to sit upon

My shoulders

My feet splashed
Along the shiny pavement
And light danced off puddles around me

Gray and bleak, my day
Like everyone else's
Blurred by the rains
Like yesterday and the day before

And I stood in the falling waters
And remembered

That it's not the sky making my day soggy
But a reminder from the ocean
That I belong underwater

The rain is my fault.

But I am happy The Lady sent me a love letter today.

Drip drip drip.

I have put away my trolling days
I am here in a serious way

Please excuse my past behavior
I'll do anything, even sign a waiver

I enjoy the reefs I see
It makes me relax and be free

A couple bubbles come out my suit!
What? Am I not allowed to toot?

I am a young diver like O2-clean
Did you know she likes O-ring

Love is in the air and in your tank
Please behave yourself or get spanked

Be careful what you say
The mods wont let you stray

I have been lectured before by who I thought was my daddy
He complained and moaned, but it was only spectre

No harm, no foul, please poor me a jug
Poor that fine wine, so I can handle pug

Please forgive me, I mean no harm
I'm sticking around so dont be alarmed

Man, good stuff!

Maybe Robyn and I should lighten up a bit?

Good stuff!

let me guess...his hose was soo long you could.....

breath air from it in an efficient out of air emergency thus providing maximum comfort for both divers while slowly ascending to the surface.

in a horizontal DIR manner affording maximum saftey with full redundancy....

Don't do real poetry, but I can do doggerel. And I take requests (occasionally even to stop writing limericks... :p )
In honour of his new, redone avatar:

Chaos once was J E Puskar's goal
Fecal-stirring seemed his only role
Must have realized one day
He had something to say
Is he now a 're-formed' scuba troll?
