I use the DR tigh pocket for my UK SL6 light, with a retractable and a QR works fair, I'm adding some velcro to the back of the pocket and my wet suit to avoid shifting in the leg during a dive.

I like the Xshort idea, may try it in the future.

Nitrox - please let us know what you think of it. Some of these things have large outside dimensions but don't hold all that much.

That's my set up on Eclipse harness. LOL~~~ But, it isn't pretty set up.
Another alternative option is OMS pocket. It is a relatively less cost.

Edit) The pocket can hold the wetnote, 100lb lif bag and spool enough.

teknitroxdiver, have you ever bought Oxycheq wing from Larry at ScubaToys?

I might be confused with other member though.

You might be interested in using a thigh pocket for now:

I use one. Pretty nice underwater. The only thing I have to complain about it is that it's like an extra piece of equipment you have to put on when gearing up.

At ScubaToys you mean? Nope, all I've bought is a computer and some fins and hoses. And a bunch of other stuff...

I hope not...but yeah, I'll give a full report on the following: The DSS rig, the SK7 mount, the pocket, and the long hose.
