I assume there's a clip for the light inside the pocket: turn it on before you unclip it, even when the consequences of dropping it unlit are 0% chance of losing the light. Failure to ingrain this procedure in your lizard brain has a 100% chance of you eventually dropping the turned off light into a dark, silty engine room deck after unclipping it. How I know this shall remain undiscussed ;)

If you want a Halcyon pocket, send me a PM next week(I'm off to Grand Cayman on Weds) and we can work something out. I prefer pockets on the exposure suit or a pair of shorts, rather than cluttering up the waist belt.

(I just checked and it's still here. $45 will get it shipped to you tomorrow before I leave.)

Shoot, you have a pic handy? I'm tempted to pick that up for travel dives where I don't want to bother with either the Irikonjis or a can light.

Take a look at the IST Diver's Holster. I like mine a lot...two zippered pockets with d-rings on the inside.

The XS scuba pockets I picked up from jim will work perfect for what I need them to do. Thanks for the info and suggestions

All of my pockets are either mounted to my drysuits or I wear shorts with pockets over my wetsuit. What happens if you need to ditch your kit in the ocean? Do you have your whistle, SMB, cutting shears, etc., still on your person?

Pockets are cheap to buy and super easy to glue onto a wetsuit.

I personally don't like pockets in my harness and hate my Halcyon ACB. There are short cargo pants with big pockets that you can wear over your wet/drysuit. Have you consider that? I've read some nice reviews about them here.

I have the new halcyon pocket.... Which I use for warm water trips only. Pricey, but works well. I use a long hose and like to be able to loop under the pocket. Tucking the long hose into my harness never works well for me
