geraldp:So... what's it take to get a 1-day MA lobster license for an out-of-stater?
$5000 of property in MA. Unfortunately, there is no such thing.

"Dad, can you give me a receipt stating I own your deck?"
I opted for the Cape Ann Divers charter, and had a great time. Thanks for all the ideas. There were about 9 of us on the Cape Ann Diver II, and I had a lot of fun spotting lobster for my buddies. Unfortunately when I got out of the boat I smashed my drysuit exhaust valve on the ladder, which broke it off (there was a ripping current at the surface). That kind of ended my dive weekend :-( At least I got one good dive in. My dive shop is sending the suit back for an in-warantee repair.geraldp:Hey all:
I've got the opportunity to travel to MA (Marlborough) next month and have an extra day (May 15) to try some New England diving. Somebody suggested Rockport (Folly Cove?). Can anybody recommend a place to rent tanks and find a buddy? I did a google search and found Cape Ann Divers in Gloucester. They have a nice web page, but are they a good dive shop? Any other recomendations?
geraldp:We dove off of Halibut Point, and most of the divers caught close to their limit on the first dive. Lots of lobster down there.
One diver had a Xios EyeSea personal sonar system strapped to his wrist. That was an impressive piece of gadgetry.
