Someone broke into my garage last night and stole (among other things) a bunch of my scuba equipment. I don't imagine the thieves are divers, so if anyone in the bay area happens to see someone selling this stuff, I'd appreciate you letting me know.

I didn't have a chance to take a good inventory, but here's what I know is missing:

Halcyon Eclipse BP/W - generic black webbing, two o-rings and two pieces of bike innertube on left shoulder strap, possibly some XS Scuba weight pockets on the belt. Random hole in the crotch strap webbing from where the previous owner had the webbing doubled up and clipped.

Zeagle Flathead VI reg setup - black primary on a 48"ish hose, yellow octo with bungee necklace on a short hose, HP hose with quick disconnect for aeris computer, standard inflator hose.

Aeris Atmos Ai Computer - fittingly enough, I went diving yesterday and the thing died on me, so it may or may not be working.

Aqua Lung Blade Fins - blue and well worn with Boogie711 brand spring straps.

Thanks in advance!

scott, so sorry to hear this news, will keep eyes and ears open!! good luck to you.

Hey Scott, really sorry to hear that. My own house was robbed last week and the punks made off with about 10K worth of tools and a generator. I know how you feel. It's really upsetting.

Good luck finding some of your stuff or the jerks who did it...

Bunch of savages in this town...

Sorry to hear of the thievery Scott, good to spread the news of this, keep an eye on ebay or craig's list.

There must be a rash of SCUBA thefts going on because my instructor/friend's stuff was also stolen out of her garage almost 2 weeks ago!!!

Sorry to hear of your situation...will your homeowner's insurance cover it?

Oh man, I just got a deal on Ebay, picked up a Halcyon Eclipse BP/W for $50.00..........haha.

what a steal. :D

Scott, that SUX! Are you going diving this weekend then? I can loan you some gear if you need some.

Yeah everybody, keep an eye out for an Atmos AI with a display that looks all funky, with random segments lit up and showing you missed two hours of deco, and that you're still at 300+ feet. J/K, hope you find out who the bastads are who stole it. Look on craigslist.org, maybe it'll show up there.

At least it all got to go on one last decent day of diving before being abducted. It was probably still wet when the thieves took it!

I've already ordered a new set of gear, which should be here in time for diving this weekend. And I think insurance will cover the loss. I'd still really like to catch the ******* who took it though.

And Shaka - I'm leaving directions to your house in my garage, just in case the theives come back.

If anyone tries to sell me your gear, I'll offer top price, but will request that they accompany me on a dive to show me it works. We'll do a nice easy 100 foot dive. Then I'll reach out, dump their weights and hit the inflator on their bcd. Then they'll show up under acciedents and incidents.
