I have an ever growing assortment of Scubapro regulators that need replacement parts. For now I'd like to try to sort out what parts I can use for the 2nd stages. I have 1 G250, 1 R190, and 5 R109's to get up and running. The 109's are in varying conditions, ranging from excellent to poor. I'd like to convert 1 or 2 of them to the 156 configuration.

For the R190 and the 109's that will be left unbalanced (assuming they have the Duro poppet), will either of these kits from Northeast Scuba Supply work?

Large Seat

Small Seat

For the G250 and the converted 109's will the A148 rivet style seat from Trident be appropriate?

The Duro poppets, S-wing poppets, G250 springs, and balance chambers look like they will be the parts that are hardest to get ahold of. Does anyone have a lead on a source for these parts that won't break the bank?

try posting in DIY. The usual suspects will help you out.

sidebar: recent "testing" shows little or no gain in balancing the 109's (if you have a balanced first). Might be a good savings for you there....

One alternative way to deal with the unbalanced is awap's magic punch. It requires some investment upfront, like 10 bucks; thereafter you can punch your own seats for a few cents each. No special skills required.

The Trident A148 seats work well for the 156, G250 and also a number of other makes. See this thread.

On top of that, you still need to find the balance chambers and the springs...
Not there yet.

Not bad price!
Who's got them? Anyone in here?

Edit
Wow, that guy is quick!
