Just be aware that you can no longer hike to the top of the Pyramids in Chichen Itza. The ruins are typically very crowded. You might consider some others, Ek Balam, Mayapán and Uxmal are a few of my favorites.
I would also advise you to go to Tank- Ha, especially for Cenotes. Pablo is the cave diver there and incredibly knowledgeable and skilled.

Up vote for Tank-Ha. Great shop and they have showers.

I'm surprised no one made the joke about Chicken Pizza. Well, here I am.

I apologize for being lazy, but after planning 5 trips in 2025 alone, my brain is going to explode if I have to plan another one :)

My SO and I have ~10 days in early November and I'm thinking of the Yucatan. We'd like to do a couple days of diving in Coz, a couple of dives on mainland cenotes, a visit to Tulum and/or Chichen Itza... can anyone suggest an itinerary that would be easy to put together? Or where to find one online? I'm a divemaster; my SO is newly certified but is extremely comfortable and capable in the water - the only issue might be needing an AOW cert for the cenotes(?) My one previous trip to Coz was a weeklong dive package, but my SO doesn't want to do that much diving, so we'd need to find an operator that would let us do a single day or two of diving.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be very greatly appreciated. Please be kind. TIA!

If you stay in Playa, I recommend Dive Rite Mexico (Zotz) for Cenote, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen dives. They also offer whale shark tours which depart from Playa. I have to say that swimming with whale sharks has always been my most memorable experience when visiting the Yucatan.
