Thanks for the reviews. My wife loves diving Bonaire and hates shore diving. Boat dives with a decent house reef fits her needs. I know, a house reef is shore diving. Take the difference up with her.

For sure a house reef isn't like shore diving elsewhere on the island. No truck trip, no lugging gear, there is ladder entry and a rinse tank. My wife also likes boat and house reef diving but does not like to go out in the truck except maybe one dive each trip at Sand Pier. Different strokes.

I guess it qualifies as a real shore dive only if you need booties.
