Everyone always talks about the food trucks on Bonaire as great places to get lunch. However, we have noticed over the last 2 years a growing number of food trucks that open up in the evening. Last January there was even one in Between 2 Buns’ parking lot.

I am definitely planning on checking a few out this coming trip, but who can offer some insight on which truck has what types of food and which are must does?

From Reddit:
Food Trucks open at night. They open around 18.00 or later till almost midnight and sell mostly grilled food. They are quite cheap and you get a lot of food. Try Orange Express (homemade fries, really good fajitas and a nice green salad), Apeldam grill (it's across VIP Grill), Viking Grill, VIP Grill (the best ribs), Big Boys grill, Kokí riba blòki (FB krb Bonaire), the food truck at the parking place next to the post office. Oh and never ever go to the food truck parked at the car wash across the stadium. Their food is horrible.

Thanks, @tursiops ! The one that parks at B2Bs was packed every time we drove by. Unfortunately, we were usually come back from, or going to, dinner. This year we‘ll make a point of trying a couple.

We will be in bon in Jan and would also like to learn more about food trucks, locations, hours and recommendations. Trip #6 coming up and we have our favorites as far as dining options but have not hit a food truck. We will be at captain dons

I think we went to Pita Madre more than anywhere else last visit. Of course, the short walk from the apartment, and not having to worry if we were in wet clothes, helped a lot.
