Or where could I go for an afternoon or night dive on my first night in PDC?

Thanks

What's the dive profile for Tortugas?
I really want to do this dive when I get there in a couple weeks. My wife hasn't dove in a while, so if it's too deep or if there's too much current she may not want to go.

I'll definitely have her do some local reef dives in Puerto Aventuras first...

I've logged it at 68 feet this year, and last time it was at 84 feet. You can dive it shallower or deeper depending on your group's ability. The current was ripping the first time, this year it was moving along but not scary fast.

Depending on where you are staying, Cenotes are about 6 to 7 hours round trip with 2 dives if leaving from downtown PDC.

There are plenty of cenotes in the vicinity of PDC that doesn't take 6 to 7 hours. There's the Carwash, Chac-Mol, Grand Cenote, etc that are about 2 hours south of PDC. I was just there for spring break.

Call Armando www.scubacenote.com he is an amazing cave diver and instructor. He'll take you to all the great spots around PDC. I've dove with him twice and have nothing but great things to say about him. I met him through Phantom Divers (www.phantomdivers.com)

I strongly suggest the Cenotes! Nothing like it. Isla Tortugas (turtle island) is an amazing drift dive and you see plenty of turtles.

Hi my friend, i have to second Manta divers and you have to ask for Lief, he is not only an incredible diver, but he is a good time too, call Mimi, Manta divers owner, she is really good in getting back to you and John her husband is a great guy as well, i just cameback from there yesterday, i took the Cavern specialty with them Lief was my instructor and let me tell you that in my next trip i will be asking to dive with him again.

Good Luck, dive safe and have fun.

-Raf.
