Playa del Carmen 02/15 to 02/29

I'm a 29 french canadian woman who's going in Playa especially to dive. I'd like to know if there's divemasters/instructors living there who have a place for me to stay not to expensive for 2 weeks. I'm not a "all inclusive" traveler and I just come back from a 3 months trip in Asia so money is a little probleme for me.

Any advices or other contacts are welcomed.

Try contacting Mom's Hotel. A fellow Canadian SB'er, Rob mackay, has been staying there for 2 months. He loves it and their prices. Good luck!

How close is Mom's to your shop?

Do you pick up from Mom's?

Mom's hotel is 5 blocks to the beach. It's a straight shot down the 4th Street. My shop is on the beach where 2nd Street dead ends with the beach. Unfortunately, I do not offer pick-up. I'm too small of an op.

My son and I walked to Jason's beach shop daily from 12th street at 8:30 in the morning with our gear bags and we enjoyed it. It took 10-15 minutes and just added to the anticipation of dive experience.
