In my save-a-dive kit, I have plenty of zip-ties (double/triple/etc up if needed), stainless-steel zip-ties, paracord, and bungie-cord. If a buckle were to break, I'd have plenty of options for fixes.

I also have a mini sewing kit, because they're cheap and tiny, but I'd probably have to be desperate to use that on a dive-site.
