Hello all friends,

I am new to diving and I have a CMAS 1 star license. I am going to visit Phuket mid-November, so I was wondering, which dive sites would you be able to recommend for diving?

Also, I do not have any basic equipments, is Thailand a good place to buy them?

I am interested about shark point. Since i like sharks. So it makes me excited.

Any operators to suggests for a one day dive?

thank you

Scubacat & Sea Bees are good IMO. Regarding divesites, I have very fond memories of dives at Koh Dok Mai and King Cruiser.

Another recommendation for Sea Bees.....excellent operation. They will have all the gear to rent as it can be expensive to buy but that's still an option.

I am considering 3 Dive – King Cruiser, Shark Point & Koh Doc Mai Day Trip,
this kind of trip with a reasonable prices.

What do you think? Would it worth? 4300 THB is too much?

thank you

Those are very good dives, and I would pay tbh 4300 for that easy.

Hi! Quickly dropping this before bed time! Phuket was great to me but lots of people say I was just lucky! Saw lots of sharks at shark point and manta rays at Racha Noi! Best Diving sites in Phuket – Thailand Scuba dive reviews by Divezone It's also funny how phuket is underrated but when you take time to have a scooter ride and visit the less mainstream beaches you find lot's of little paradise snorkelling spots ! Also, my best recommendation as for the price is to deal with them over there and not book anything online if suggested... !Enjoy!

Firstly, thanks for all the infos.

I suppose I will choose 3 dive Phi Phi / Shark Point day trip, instead of 3 Dive – King Cruiser, Shark Point & Koh Doc Mai Day Trip, due to my limitations of 18m with my current license. As for the King Cruiser, it starts around 18m till 40m. so I suppose 2 dives at Phi Phi and Shark Point is fine with me.

As long as I could see sharks (if i am lucky like you, thats ok for me)

Yet, do not have any personel equipments, so I was wondering is it reasonable to buy masks and fins over there? Whether in Bangkok as I will be there for 2 days than move to Phuket for diving.

Lastly, I will deal with them in shop, instead of online. Thats way better but it may be the same prices in some cases. we will see and inform you after the dives.

Yet, hope I could take some videos or pictures.
