Thanks for the P/V-weight info and links, guys.

UP: do you simply run your tank straps up and around the P-weight, or did you do something more complex?

The P-weight sounds like a great idea for when I'm diving dry with a single, as I frequently do. By putting the weight just under the center of buoyancy, it should make trimming out significantly easier, and I could ditch those ACB pockets Uncle Pug hates so much.

Getting all the stuff together to do it properly sounds like a pain, though, and I'm not comfortable with the bit about lead fumes, either.

EE offers V-weights, but that doesn't help on the single tank dives, as UP noted. Does anyone make P-weights for Halcyon backplates?

I made the P-weight so that it has grooves for the cam bands... it weighs 6#... but since I don't use it I will sell it if you PM me.
