I'm a divemaster candidate in the Pacific Northwest planning on going through Instructor asap but I'm young and poor. SO with all my money going toward classes, exams, etc. I'm wondering if the Kodiak semi-dry is worth the extra $250 over the EVX 7mm suit. I've been diving a 7mm farmer john rental suit the past 3 months and have been fine. I'm doing my dry suit specialty in a couple weeks but am not considering buying a dry suit of my own, I'm too young, proud and poor for all that. Anyone have experience with either of these suits that can offer up some much needed advice/guidance? Thanks.
