I'm working on a more detailed trip report. Basically, water temperatures were mostly in the low 60's (5mm two-pc was fine); visibility was 50+ ft most of the time; and the fish and critters were everywhere. We also ate like pigs :11:

Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo, vacation's over. No trips to warm waters for a long time (unless I go without the spouse, and that's not happening  ) (I can just see the dialogue:

Me: Hi, dear, here's some new jewelry. By the way, you're taking care of the kids while I go to a diving vacation in the Caribbean.

Spouse: Take that! :bash:

Me: :shiner:

Very nice shots! I like the guitarfish, the orange fan and the "eye spy series"

Still looking, there is alot of sea life, I'll have to take a good look for myself again.

You're going to have so much fun in September. The visibility should be reliably better (though we had pretty good vis.) and the water temps will be in the low 80's. None of this 2pc/5mm stuff! (Mind you, after the initial "oh my gosh it's cooolddd!", you do warm up). You might even get to see large pelagics (esp. if you make a special trip for them). I got a "swim by" by a sea lion a couple of times, but didn't get the shot.

Dialogue to self:

Me: Wow, that looks like a sea lion over to the left coming towards me!
Me: Yes, it is! Quick, camera!
Me: Sea lion passing in front heading to the right, aim camera
Me: Oops, sea lion gone!
