Here's a few photos from the Anacapa dive today. Lots of cool stuff in the water. Sorry for all the backscatter.

The coolest thing we saw - a Bat Ray taking off away from us....

but then he came back for another pass

we always see some Garibaldi

There were more Sheephead and larger ones in the reserve than we often see

You might always see Garibaldi, but I never tire of seeing photos of them!

Sounds like you guys had fun wish i could have gone. nice photos, even though there is backscatter. it is so hard around here to get photos with out backscatter. That sheep crab looks awesome, they are always so camaflauge. So how many Crabers went?

Nice Pics Rex, thank you for posting. That Bat Ray was very cool. I remember seeing it just floating about lazily, propelling it self along, and then taking off in a flash.

The picture of the Ricksterfish on the surface is very scary, are those things dangerous?
